No more love on the run (Part II).

Salam, good day. Alhamdulillah, it's a wonderful sunday! For the whole week, I almost forgot that I do have office to attend! *lol* I can hardly sit on my office chair, I did more field job instead. To make things worst, I have to skip my Cardiovascular Clinic appointment yesterday, just to fulfill the office commitment *no more excuses*. Some people would have felt that I was being bullied with the workload given to me, but nope. The challenges I've been facing in recent weeks or recent months, Alhamdulillah is still out of the league and I think it is just a matter of time actually. I would stick to my positive thinking to develop my potential and would still believe that hardwork bring success:)

I admit I did an insufficient stretching and warming-up prior to the run *lazy*

After a 400m distance, the knee is aching. I'm not sure if it is because of the insufficient warming up or something else. But the problem which I faced recently in Singapore seems to hit me again. For a 3km run, I clocked a very bad timing of 15:24.76, this is due to those knee problem. I think I should go to the physiotherapy very very soon. Nevermind the header above, I still love the run! Have a pleasant week ahead:)

So far so good.

Prior to this evening's State Banquet at Istana Nurul Iman, in honour of His Excellency Dato Laila Utama Dr.Haji Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, President of the Republic of Indonesia and Datin Ibu Hajah Ani Bambang Yudhoyono. I was holding my emceeing script on my left hand, Alhamdulillah job done then.

On my right is Bapak Suhanda of Programma 3 RRI,
he is a member of the President's entourage.

The 27th National Day souvenir, good combination of HM's potrait and Brunei Darussalam national flag. I can hardly snap any picture during the recent National Day's mass gathering at Taman which is I regret the most. It is because I was on duty, so it won't permits me to do so.

Raise your flag.

Sa'adah did raise her national flag (and it was made by herself) *applause*
What about you?

Salam, good day. Later this afternoon rakyat and residence of Brunei Darussalam are asked to attend a mass Maghrib prayer, recitation of Surah Yaasin, tahlil and thanksgiving prayer in all masjid and surau's nationwide in conjunction with the 27th National Day Celebration which commence tomorrow 23rd February 2011. Alhamdulillah for the past 27 years, with the help of Allah the almighty and with the leadership of His Majesty The Sultan and Yang Dipertuan of Brunei Darussalam we were able to generate NBD to be among respectable developing nations, be it in politics, economics and human resource development to name a few. Yes, sometimes we thought we have nothing to do with the development of our country especially if we are only holding a minor position, which I think is not particularly right. Everyone of us do have our responsibility to make Brunei Darussalam among the fast growing emerging nation worldwide. ‘Negaraku Brunei Darussalam’, Allahu Akbar:)

Good test.

Photo opportunity with Ebiet G.Ade, he was recently in Brunei. His all time masterpiece was 'Camellia II' which is also sang by The Sweet Charity (Ramli Sarip). Glad to see him up-close.

...as well as Ari Lasso *he is very very cool, very down to earth*
Now, I'm one of his fan!

Another pictures of the 27th National Day rehearsal at Taman. About this four officers, their job is to make sure the guard of honour works properly.

My favourite part...the band.

Over than 100 teams participates in the march-pass

Actually the red part is the formation of arabic letter 'Negara Zikir'

Their job is to make the event sounds proper *big task*

Only good news.

Goals from Robin van Persie and Andrey Arshavin gives Arsenal a brilliant late comeback to claim a 2-1 win against Barcelona. What a game it was, great encounter! Both team plays a beautiful football. Barca's only goal scored by their prolific David Villa in the 26th minutes to give the visitor the lead. However Arsene Wenger knows better then Pep Guardiola how to win a high profile match.

This morning I managed to sneak-in to Taman for the preview of National Day mass gathering. All the roads to bandar was hit by a heavy traffic. So, for those who is working in bandar should be aware about this. Photo above shows 27 member of Army Cadet carries the big-flag of Brunei Darussalam.
