DPMM FC, Good Start.

Salam, good day. Rabiulawal is back, alhamdulillah. Every night at the mosque and surau all over the country is hosting majlis dikir maulud to commemorate the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The theme for this year's maulud is 'Kedewasaan Bernegara Dengan Zikir'. So, please do attend those functions and may Allah bless all of us, Amin. At the meantime, lets give all round of applause to DPMM FC after their debut match in the S-League against Young Lions resulted with a 1-1 draw. Not bad really as the Young Lions was a very well organised team. While their first home match is on the 4th of March, hosting Super Reds FC. Please do come to show our support to our beloved team, DPMM FC!

I didn't remember when was this picture taken. But it was during The Digital Audio Editing Course organised by CfBD of RTB and conducted by Mr David Brookefield (seated in black) from Bristol University, UK. We failed to have a nice photo shot, laughter all the time! Hahaha... It was a two week course and I tell you it was a very enjoyable and memorable for all of us. We did a field trip to Kampong Ayer, Tamu Kianggeh and places of interest in Brunei. David himself was a very nice lad and a very strong supporter of Glasgow Celtic in The Scottish Premier League.

Then we hosted David with a farewell dinner. Guess what, this englishman is very addicted to 'ambuyat'...hahaha... In the picture above, David was also holding a Visit Brunei mug I gave him. Until now I believe, the very time he uses the mug he would miss Brunei. Hope to see you again mate, thanks for everything!

Thank You HE DLU Mr Lee Kuan Yew.

Salam, good day. Still about Singapore. A big thanks to His Excellency Dato Laila Utama Mr Lee Kuan Yew for his wonderful and informative speech during The SOAS Memorial Lecture. Thank you, thank you, thank you... The S-League debutant DPMM FC will taste the challenging fixtures of S-League tomorrow, they are away to Singapore's Young Lions. DPMM FC is no stranger to footballing environmnet in Singapore as they being invited very often to an annual invitational football tournament which organised by FAS. As being quoted by the team official, to stand DPMM FC in the top 5 for their debut season would be good enough. All the best of luck to DPMM FC! More pictures during The N-Day mass gathering below.

Support Our Government!

Salam, good day. Well done to all of those who involved during the N-Day Mass Gathering yesterday at The National Stadium. Hardworks brings good results. Also in conjunction with the N-Day, The Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Foundation in collaboration with UBD is organising The Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Memorial Lecture tomorrow at The ICC. The highlight of the event is the Special Address by His Excellency Dato Laila Utama Lee Kuan Yew, The Minister Mentor of The Republic of Singapore. I can't wait to attend the event since I was also invited. HE Dato Laila Utama Lee Kuan Yew is the first Prime Minister of Singapore and also regarded as 'Founder of Singapore'. The diplomatic relation between Brunei Darussalam and Singapore is very close and warm. Both nations also shared the same currency, officially known as 'Currency Inter Exchange Ability'. Another thing I like about Singapore is their 'Sup Kambing', shopping stores and of course their one and only legendary singer Ismail Haron! Pray for good.

Salam, good day. Later today rakyat and residence of Brunei Darussalam are welcome to attend a mass Maghrib prayer, recitation of Surah Yaasin, tahlil and thanksgiving prayer in all masjid and surau's around the country in conjunction with The National Day Silver Jubilee Celebration which commence tomorrow February 23rd, 2009. Alhamdulillah for the past 25 years, with the help of Allah the almighty and with the guidance of His Majesty The Sultan and Yang Dipertuan of Brunei Darussalam we are able to generate NBD to be among respectable developing nations, be it in politics, economics and human resource development to name a few. Yes, sometimes we thought we have nothing to do with the development of our country especially if we are holding only a minor position either in civil service or private sector. That is definitely wrong! Every rakyat and residence have their contribution in many ways. If you are a cleaner, you are cleaning the city. If not because of you, our city will looks ugly. If you are a driver, you are driving the minister. Who is going to send and fetch the minister to their office if not you. So, every one of us have their own responsibilities to develop our beloved country, Brunei Darussalam! While yesterday afternoon I've attended "Majlis Pelancaran Buku Warga Perkhidmatan Awam Penggerak Negara Zikir dan Membaca Ratib Al-Attas Sempena Sambutan Jubli Perak Hari Kebangsaan NegaraBrunei Darussalam". The function tooks place at Legislative Council Building.

N-Day Four Days Left.

Salam, good day. The preparation for this upcoming N-Day Silver Jubilee Celebration is on it's fifth gear now. The full dress rehearsal was held this morning at The National Stadium. Salute to all of those who involve mainly in the field theme perfomances. During last year when the N-Day Celebration was held at Taman OAS, I could rate the field theme perfomance was perfect 10 out of 10. So, I expect much better perfomances this year in conjunction with the Silver Jubilee. Allah bless Brunei Darussalam!

Rainy to Hazy.

Salam, good day. Starting this week onwards my schedule was really tight. May Allah give me the strength continously for me to complete my assignment job by job. On my count, The National Day Silver Jubilee is only six days left. So as usual the functions before and after in conjunction with the National Day is on my list of assignments. After the National Day, Maulud Nabi is coming up. In the meantime we are also busy-ing for S-League Football. Although I love being busy because of workload, but sometimes we also need to remind ourself to stay healthy, to take a good care of ourself. It is very important to stay healthy since we have a very long future to go and for sure the children still needs us. Meaning that keep up the good work and stay healthy, Insya Allah if not today may be in the future we'll gain an excellent life. Amin! At the meantime the weather condition in the country changes drastically from rainy to hazy. Lets see what is going to happen in this few days, hopefully all comes good.
