HBT 2012. Brunei Darussalam booked their place in the semi-final after defeated Timor Leste 1-0. The only goal was scored by Mohammad Aminuddin Zakwan Mohammad Tahir in the 29th minutes. This is the first time ever the host nation has gone this far since the tournament first organised in 2002 and they will play against Myanmar in the semi on 7 March, 2000 hours at Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium. In another semi-final will see Vietnam will play against Indonesia (*great encounter I would say) at 1600 hours on the same day at the same venue. (Image Infofoto)
Today's BB sports headline
Just before the match last evening
Whilst this is taken after the match
Photo opportunity with Timor Leste's midfield maestro Jesse Fernando Pinto. This young lad is currently playing in the Australian League. Throughout the tournament, he has shown professionalism along with his silky skill. Gonna miss watching him playing. Also, he told me that he wish to play somewhere in Southeast Asian League be it in Malaysia, Singapore or Thailand. During the match against Brunei Darussalam last evening, he only came in the 70th minutes as a substitutes because of injury. A great professional he was!
Photo opportunity with Timor Leste's goalkeeper Emerson Carlos Cesario, here you can see his big strong arms. I'm sure he can do a Mike Tyson though! He is even taller than I am. I'm not so sure if I am on a six footer but maybe I'm a 6'2" and he is maybe about 6'4". Currently he is developing his talent with SC Corinthian Junior in Brazil. After Pinto, he also is the local fans favourite.
He won't make a right turn I assume haha
