Salam, good day. Her Royal Highness Princess Fadzillah Lubabul Bolkiah has consented to officiate the Special Olympics Brunei Darussalam 5th National Games. The ceremony took place at the Track and Field Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex. According to the press release, the main objective of this year's game is to select the most potential special athletes to represent Brunei Darussalam for the Special Olympics International World Games in Athens, Greece in June next year. For this year's game, among 200 athletes taking part and a total of five games will be competed this year. These games include Athletics, Bocce, Football and Bowling as well as Youth Athletes, for aged eight and below. The game will run for three days, until the 20th March and carries the theme 'Together Nurturing Harmony':)
