Salam, good day. Last evening Brunei DPMM FC once again produced a superb perfomance to book their place in the Singapore League Cup after defeating Woodlands Wellington FC by 2-1. Ivan Jerkovic took a curling free kick to give the Bruneian team the lead in the 23rd minutes. Brunei DPMM FC double the lead in the 53rd minutes with Abdel Hamed glancing header. However Woodlands Wellington FC scored their consolation in the 73rd minutes through Mojtaba Tehranizadeh. Weaheeyyy...I can't wait to watch the final on the 19th of June and we will know the opponent after another semi-final match held later this evening between Home United FC and SAF FC:)

Majlis Sukan Sekolah Sekolah win netball gold

The first gold medal in the Junior Sports Festival went to Majlis Sukan Sekolah Sekolah when they topped the netball event with an unbeaten record.
In the final game against Tutong District yesterday, the defending champion Majlis Sukan Sekolah Sekolah easily won the match, 55-17.
According to Cikgu Rosni bint Hj Yahya the coach of Majlis Sukan Sekolah Sekolah, " In 2006, we also won the same event and this time again, we managed to emerge as champion."
On the competitiveness of the event, she said," Although the team have been training continuously under the scheme of Co-Curriculum Education Department, we never took any team lightly, that was the mentality of my players who have won the gold medal today."
Silver medal went to Brunei Muara District with three wins and one defeat while bronze medals went to Belait District with two wins and two loses.
Present to give away the prizes was Dk Hajah Mastoli Pg Seri Indera Pg Hj Ismail, Director General of Education, Ministry of Education.
